Filip Rutić (Varaždin, 1997) after finishing language high school, enrolled in sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, where he completed his undergraduate studies, and then enrolled in dramaturgy at the Academy of Dramatic Arts.
He writes dramatic texts, scripts and prose. He signed two screenplays according to which feature films of amateur production were shot. The film Povjerenje (2021), one of which premiered at the Pula Film Festival. His short stories were published as part of several contests, and he was the winner of the Kritične mase i Sedmice contests for 2020. In 2023, he published his debut novel, O neuspjehu i nebitnome (Fraktura).
He works as a dramaturg on theatre projects, and the play Gard was staged at Teatro &td, where he signed the co-authorship of the text and dramaturgy.
